Each time you succeed, you beat the book!

Some challenges give you just one chance, while others allow a few attempts. When you succeed, record your triumph in the box next to the challenge.

On some pages you will see an hourglass symbol- this represents a timed challenge. For time challenges, use your flip timer pen. For longer challenges, you will need to flip the timer more than once. It will be easier if a friend watches the timer for you.
